ISLAMABAD: Scottish Minister for External Affairs and
International Development Hamza Yousaf has said that his country is keen
to cooperate in Pakistan’s power sector.
According to the sources, Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination
Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada met Scottish Minister for External Affairs and
International Development, Hamza Yousaf in Glasgow, where both the
leaders discussed ways and means to further promote bilateral
cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, renewable energy,
education and culture.
Riaz Hussain Pirzada briefed the Scottish Minister about the
government’s incentives to attract foreign investment in education and
energy sectors.
The Scottish Minister praised the progressive outlook of the
Pakistan’s economy and expressed keen interest in cooperation in
renewable sources of energy.
